About Qrent

The Qrent story began in 2019 with a small office in central Yerevan and just three cars.

At the time, renting a car without a security deposit was rarely available on the local market. We made this approach one of Qrent's distinguishing features and set out to offer a different kind of rental experience: fewer unnecessary formalities, more trust, personal attention and genuine support throughout the journey.

We never wanted our job to end with handing over the car keys. We wanted to understand where our customers were travelling, what they might need along the way and how we could make their journey through Armenia easier and more enjoyable.

That approach helped Qrent grow.

Customers returned to us on their next visits to Armenia and recommended Qrent to friends and family. Many of those recommendations led to new customers, who later recommended us to others.

Over time, three cars became a rental fleet of more than 60 vehicles. We moved to a modern office with a large parking area in central Yerevan and expanded beyond traditional car rental.

We introduced private transfers, chauffeur-driven car hire, international transfers between Armenia and Georgia, and private tours throughout Armenia.

Step by step, Qrent has grown into what it is today: a travel service where visitors can find almost everything they need for a comfortable journey around Armenia.

There is more than one way to discover Armenia.

Some travellers want the freedom to create their own itinerary, stop whenever they find somewhere interesting and travel entirely at their own pace. Others want the flexibility of a private car without having to drive. Some simply need a comfortable journey from the airport or between cities, while others would rather spend the day exploring Armenia with a professional guide.

That is why Qrent offers several ways to travel.

Over the years, we have learned something simple: great service is not defined only by the car, the price or a modern office.

You notice it in the details.

We know many of our returning customers by name, remember the cars they prefer and are genuinely happy to welcome them back. Some have been choosing Qrent year after year whenever they return to Armenia.

To us, a customer is never just a booking number.

If a small issue can be resolved simply and reasonably instead of turning it into a problem, that is what we try to do. And whenever we can make someone's journey a little easier, we will.

Throughout the year, we offer seasonal discounts and special deals. Useful travel accessories such as phone chargers and phone holders are available free of charge, and we do our best to accommodate individual requests before the rental even begins.

Returning customers can also benefit from our loyalty programme, which includes special discounts and complimentary additional services.

Because we believe loyalty should work both ways.

Every rental vehicle is checked and prepared before collection. We monitor the condition of our cars, carry out regular maintenance and do everything reasonably possible to prevent technical issues from disrupting our customers' travel plans.

But a car is still a machine, and no company can guarantee that an unexpected problem will never occur.

What matters is what happens next.

The Qrent team is available 24 hours a day.

If an issue can be resolved quickly where you are, we will help find the most convenient solution. With our prior agreement, the vehicle can be taken to a suitable nearby service centre, and Qrent will reimburse the agreed costs.

Our priority is to prevent a minor technical problem from taking valuable time away from your holiday.

If the issue cannot be resolved locally, we will arrange assistance and, where necessary, a replacement vehicle — even when you are far from Yerevan.

Because when you are travelling, your time matters.

Armenia is not simply another destination on a map for us. We live here, work here, travel here and help visitors plan journeys around the country every day.

Our customers travel from Yerevan to Lake Sevan and Dilijan, visit Garni and Geghard, follow routes through Khor Virap, Areni and Noravank, and explore Gyumri, Jermuk, Tatev and many other parts of Armenia.

Years of working with travellers have given us practical knowledge not only of Armenia's most popular routes but also of the realities of travelling around the country in different seasons.

That means we can help you choose more than just an available car — we can help you select a vehicle that makes sense for your particular journey.

A compact car or saloon is often perfectly suitable for Yerevan and many of Armenia's main tourist routes. A family travelling with children and luggage may be more comfortable in a spacious crossover. A minivan is usually a better choice for a larger group. For longer journeys or trips into mountainous areas, it is worth considering the season, route and road conditions before choosing a vehicle.

And if you would rather not plan or drive the journey yourself, the same route can be arranged with a driver or turned into a private tour with a professional guide.

Around 10,000 customers use Qrent services every year.

We welcome travellers from Russia and other CIS countries, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and elsewhere in Europe, as well as the United States, Israel and many other parts of the world.

But the number of countries or bookings is not the figure that matters most to us.

What matters is that many people come back.

Some customers visit Armenia every year and already know which car they would like before they arrive. Others recommend Qrent to friends after their trip. Those friends then travel with us and, in time, pass our details on to someone else.

Word of mouth has helped Qrent grow from a small rental business with three cars into a travel service used by thousands of travellers every year.

We consider that one of the best measures of the quality of our work.

Our office is located at 14/2 Vardanants Street, Yerevan, in the very centre of the city, close to Republic Square and the famous Vernissage Market.

It is one of Yerevan's most vibrant cultural and tourist areas, making our office easy to reach while exploring the city centre.

You can visit us to choose an available vehicle, complete the rental formalities and start your journey. Even without an advance reservation, if a suitable car is available, the entire process usually takes around 10 minutes.

If visiting our office is not convenient, we can deliver your rental car to Zvartnots International Airport, your hotel, an address in Yerevan or another city.

Delivery is available around the clock. Additional conditions may apply for after-hours delivery and locations outside our standard delivery area.
